Project REWIND– how Dani helped save a friend from alcohol poisoning…

When we watched the final cut of this video, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! It was incredibly rewarding to hear a real-life tale about how our work helped prevent a potential tragedy.

We hope you will find it moving too and that you will feel inspired to help us continue to share our message.

Binge drinking kills over 4,300 underage youth each year.

To help prevent these tragedies, Project REWIND has shared its empowering message with thousands of students all over the Tri-State Area for over 15 years.

REWIND I teaches students how to recognize the signs of alcohol poisoning and provides teens and parents with practical dos and don’ts to help prevent tragedies and save lives. At the end of the program, we give students our signature “yellow cards” and encourage them to download our app, so that they can access life-saving info out in the real world whenever they need it.

Based on the prevalence of binge drinking, there’s a good chance that one day they’ll need our yellow cards or app.

We have the stats to show that students gain and retain Project REWIND’s potentially life-saving information, but do they really use the information outside the classroom? Thankfully, they do.

We asked some of our program’s biggest supporters to share their experiences and to let people know what a big impact Project REWIND has made. The following video is the result – it stars real people telling their stories in their own words.

A big thank you to Nancy, Dani and Cindy for agreeing to share their stories and for allowing themselves to be filmed. We are very grateful and extremely proud of the final result!
